Key West is at the tip
of the Florida Keys and is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico on
the north and west and the Straits of Florida on the south.
It can be reached by the beautiful inter-island
causeway that is U. S. Route 1, the same Route 1 that
stretches from Maine all the way down the Atlantic coast.
The causeway runs the full 100 miles from Key Largo
to Key West and gives you views of the varied keys in
between from Marathon to Big Pine to Boca Chica.
Driving from Miami International also takes you by
the Florida Everglades.
If you prefer, you
can fly from Miami directly into Key West with several
commuter type lines such as American Eagle or Continental
Connections. All
of the major car rental companies are represented at the
local airport, which is a short 7 or 8 minute drive from Key
West Golf Club.
Whether you travel
by car from Miami or fly into Key West, a management
representative will be there to greet you with keys to your
vacation home, brochures and maps of Key West, and to answer
any questions you might have to get you comfortably settled
into your vacation with a minimum of fuss.
Both grocery stores and fast food choices are all
nearby, as are many local restaurants and hotel dining rooms
